woven women
"woven women" is a short illustrated book, written and illustrated by me, about two women from two different pastoralist communities, that are connected by an invisible thread. they work with sheep and wool for their livelihoods, and are based on real women that i listened to stories from during my travels to Belgaum and Himachal Pradesh.

early indian advertisements
for this project i studied the different ways symbolism was used in indian ads from the 50s-80s, and i looked at gender and sexuality as a theme, in respect to the female identity.
